About Ticketpal
Our Mission
We're on a mission to make travel seamless for everyone. Not just the booking part — the entire journey, from your front door to your destination and back again.
The Problem
Anyone who travels regularly knows the drill. You book a train to the airport, a flight, and a hire car at the other end. Three separate bookings, three confirmation emails buried in your inbox. By the time you're standing at the check-in desk, you're scrolling through hundreds of emails trying to find the right booking reference. You find the flight, but now you need the car rental confirmation — was it in the email from the rental company, or the one from the comparison site? And what about the return train? You know it's in there somewhere.
It shouldn't be this hard. Your phone is the most powerful computer ever made, and you're using it to Ctrl+F your inbox at the airport.
Then there's the other side of it — the journey itself. You land somewhere unfamiliar, you're rushing through security, dragging bags off the belt, and at the same time you're trying to figure out what happens next. Do you need a train? A taxi? Where's the car hire desk? You're standing in arrivals fumbling with your phone, switching between apps, trying to remember what you booked and where the confirmation ended up. The one moment you most need everything at your fingertips is the exact moment you have the least time to go looking for it.
These aren't two separate problems — they're two sides of the same one. Getting your information together before you travel, and getting the right help when things change on the ground. Ticketpal is built to handle both.
The Moment It Clicked
The idea for Ticketpal crystallised on a late-night arrival at Gatwick. The flight had landed late, and the trains were a mess — delays, cancellations, the usual. Gatwick is out of town, and on nights like that, taxis are in short supply. Every Uber within range was getting snapped up in seconds. We were stuck at the airport for ninety minutes with no way out.
It didn't have to be like that. What if, as your plane touched down, your phone had already checked for travel updates? What if it had spotted the train disruption before you even switched off airplane mode, and with a single tap, reserved you a ride before the queue got out of hand?
That's the product we're building. Not just a place to store your tickets, but an assistant that helps you make the right decision quickly — based on real-time conditions, your preferences, and what's actually available.
Who We Are
Ticketpal was founded in 2025 by Tim and Daniel, two London-based friends who have spent their careers working in tech. We built Ticketpal because we kept running into the same travel frustrations ourselves — and we knew it could be better.
